The noun classifier is one of the characteristics of Mandarin,which is so large and complex that it often leads to errors in the process of learning noun classifier,including Indonesian students.What are the similarities and differences between Mandarin noun classifiers and Indonesian noun classifiers? The research methods used in this paper are comparative analysis and literature review.According to "Chinese Syllabus for Vocabulary in Chinese International Education"(hereinafter referred to as "grade division"),the 106 Mandarin noun classifiers collected are compared and analyzed.The Mandarin noun classifier is used as the basis and standard,and the classifier of the Indonesian name is compared.From the four aspects of type,collocation,syntactic function and morphological change,it describes and compares them,and concludes the similarities and differences between them.This article is divided into six parts: the first chapter,the introduction,briefly introduces the significance,the status quo,the method and so on.The second chapter describes and compares the types of the noun classifiers in Mandarin and Indonesian languages,and finds out the corresponding relation between the noun classifiers,and finally makes a summary of the chapters.The third chapter,describes and compares from the collocation of the Mandarin and Indonesian noun classifiers,and find out the similarities and differences between the two noun classifiers,and finally make a summary of the chapters.The fourth chapter describes and compares the syntactic functions of the Mandarin Indonesian noun classifiers,and finds out the similarities and differences between the two noun classifiers.The fifth chapter describes and compares the morphological changes of the Mandarin Indonesian noun classifiers and find out the similarities and differences between the two noun classifiers,and finally summarize the chapters.The sixth chapter summarizes the full text.This article is based on the Mandarin noun classifier,compared with the Indonesian language,and finally found that there are three phenomena in the Mandarin and Indonesian noun classifier,that is,collected according to “grade division" Mandarin noun classifier “ ? ”,the corresponding noun classifier in Indonesian is “orang” and “buah”,this phenomenon can be called “one-to-many” correspondence;another example: the Mandarin noun classifier “ ? ”,the corresponding noun classifier in Indonesian is “bungkus”,this phenomenon can be called "One-to-one" correspondence;another example: Mandarin noun classifiers “???????”,the corresponding noun classifier in Indonesian is “ekor”,this phenomenon may be called “multi-to-one” correspondence.
