Chinese Oral Features And Difficulties In Interpretation And Coping Strategies

With the development of globalization,the exchanges between countries and between regions are also booming,as well as interpretation activities.This report focuses on the characteristics of spoken Chinese,and analyzes the characteristics of Chinese spoken language through the simulation interpretation of the press conference of the movie “The Assassin” at Cannes Film Festival in 2015.The article also studies the effects of these characteristics on interpretation,and proposes several relating strategies.This article focuses on how to apply theories and techniques into practice when the original text is with Chinese oral features,and complete interpretation activities efficiently and accurately on the basis of being loyal to the original meaning.The introduction part mainly discusses the research significance of this topic and literature review.The first chapter includes the task introduction,source of the material,preparation before interpretation and analysis and summary after interpretation.In the second chapter,through analyzing specific examples,the author mainly describes the characteristics of the source language speaker.The author also introduces the influence of such characteristics on interpreting activities and what difficulties the author encountered in the process of simulation.The third chapter mainly introduces theories and techniques that interpreters can use to better complete the task.The final part concludes and summarizes this article.
