“Qi” is one of the most basic, widest, inclusive and evolved categories in Chinese philosophy,it reflects the status of various aspects of Chinese culture from different perspectives. From ancient times to the present,Chinese people take care of the universe or human beings, they have used “Qi” as the basis for thinking. The thinking of the ancient Chinese sages on the existence of human beings was inseparable from the discussion of the physical and mental relationships.Because physical and mental integrity is not a simple match between material and spiritual, but there is a flow of “Qi” between the both. The discussion of mind and body cannot be separated from the connection between them-Qi.In the history of the development of ancient Chinese thought, the emergence of the concept of Qi has a milestone significance for the understanding of physical and mental relationships. In the Taoist perspective, body and mind are connected through the “Qi”.This understanding was reflected in many books of Taoism during the pre-Qin period. In these classics and books, the book of Guan Zi is a collection of papers written by the school of the Huang lao Taoist at the end of the Warring States period. It is a concentrated expression of the thought and form of his school of thought. The ideas contained in book of Guan Zi are very rich. The concept of “The Four Chapters of Guan Zi” was proposed by Mr.Guo Moruo and Mr.Liu Jie.The Four Chapters of Guan Zi includes four articles, they are Xin Shu the first;Xin Shu the second;Bai Xin;Nei Ye.Mr.Guo and Mr.Liu believe that the ideas they represent an important part of the history of Chinese philosophy.Although the content of these four articles has its own emphasis, compared with other chapters of Guan Zi,the whole can be coherent and it comes from the thought of integrating Huanglao Taoism. The Four Chapters of GuanZi inherited and developed the Taoist ideas of Laozi. Its Taoist theory is the metaphysical foundation of its entire ideological system.Four articles are explained with material essence. Therefore, the theory of “Jingqi” is a major feature of Qi's thought of “The Four Chapters of Guan Zi ”,and it is also a breakthrough in the theory of Taoism. The Four Chapters of Guan Zi with the focus on the essence of “Jingqi”,it mainly discusses the view of health preservation of huang-lao Taoism through the way of “governing the heart”,and the extended theory of governance. This article is based on a review of the development and evolution of the theory of Qi in the pre-Qin period.Through the analysis of the relationship between Taoism and Qi,heart and Qi,Qi and life, morality and behavior,on the one hand,to reveal the characteristics of the theory of Qi,to understand the internal and external structures of life from the perspective of “the theory of Jingqi”,to understand the relationship between “Qi” and the phenomenon of life.On the other hand,it deeply analyzes the relationship between “Qi” and “virtue”,to find the inner connection between the virtue of introspection and the extrinsic behavior.Strive to master and comb the internal logic and logic of the philosophy of “the theory of Qi” in the four chapters of Guan Zi as a whole, and try to further explore the three levels of ultimate concern of metaphor in its thoughts: to explore the life care from the individual to the body from the heart of healing the practice path of Qi.From self-governance and governance to social care at the governance level, then it goes up to follow the mandate of heaven and comply with the popular wishes of the people,to pursuit the theory that man is an integral part of nature in harmony with the highest realm of natural care.Used to guide the balance of mind and body,to practice the relationships with others, and a harmonious relationship with the outer world in the real society.
