Under the both internal and external pressure, in order to saving the crisis and consolidating the rule, the Qing government implemented the New Deal reforms in all aspects in 1901, Which military and education were important parts of this reform. As far as the former is concerned, Qing government believed the powerful of military power was an important guarantee of national security, for this reason in respect to train a new army, it was not only used the advanced Western weaponry also carried out military system changes, the military of Late Qing had gradually expanded from the scope of learning "Advanced Technology" to the institutional aspects, but the army's organization and training needed to adapt with military personnel, and the old to the martial art training and selection of personnel clearly can not assume this responsibility, faced with this situation, the Qing government had taken a series of initiatives, such as repealing the imperial examination, setting up a large number of new military schools, sending students,emulating the Japanese army to establish four categories of new military education system.In this paper, the new system in the army school of the third as investigation object, describing the old and the new army replacement of military education, based on the background of its founder, unified management mechanism, specific operational situation, the characteristics of correctional officers in schools, several aspects of the student's graduation whereabouts to expand detailed analysis, In order to explore the army school in the third as a new army military academy in the late Qing dynasty, what were the differences which exist with traditional military education and national education in ordinary schools, and be relatively objective evaluation of its performance.The army school of the third as a modern military education system in part, setting up in the transition of China from traditional to modern times, Which was modeled on Japan to follow suit in many aspects of the curriculum, teaching methods and examination system, etc. and made remarkable achievements.
