Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Publicity And Education In Rule Of Law In Rural Areas

Forming socialist idea of rule of law and legal thinking and improve the whole nation's legal accomplishment through learning legal knowledge are the purposes of the rule of law publicity and education.In China,the popularization of basic knowledge of law began in 1986.The development over a period of more than thirty years leads in the seventh-five-year planning cycle of law popularization.During more than thirty years,it finished a large number of works for law popularization and education according to the planning of law popularization.On the one hand,many effects have gained,but many problems could not be denied.Therefore,the author makes analysis and demonstration about the problems and reasons based on field work,and throws out relevant suggestions.This thesis is composed of five sections including introduction.The first section is introduction.It gives an analysis for law popularization and education in the countryside in different views.It also puts forward necessity and feasibility about the research of problems and solutions of law popularization and education in the countryside and summarizes research status at home and abroad.Three research methods used by thesis are introduced,which are literature research method,questionnaire method and depth interview.The second section analyzes the background and implementation of law popularization and education in the countryside in China.It contains background,development,effectiveness and the change of the policy.The third section is empirical investigation in the rural area in S City,Fujian Province.There are five villages and towns as the survey sites.This section involves three parts:the subject,the ways and contents of law popularization and education in S City's countryside.The fourth section finds problems and analyzes them from society,government and farmers.The fifth section makes suggestions for strengthening law popularization and education in the countryside and makes further efforts in improving efficiency and operability in practice.
