Liu Shaoqi's Thought Of Party Spirit Cultivation And Its Contemporary Value Research

Liu Shaoqi,who is one of the important leaders of our country and an outstanding Marxist-Leninist theorist,devoted his life to the research of the construction of the CPC.The theory of cultivating the Party Spirit is an important part of Liu Shaoqi's theory of the construction of the CPC,which develops Mao's theory of building party from the ideological basis and is also the first in the history of Marxist's theories of party building thought.Firstly,this paper analyzes the historical backgrounds,ideological origins and the development course of Liu Shaoqi's theory of cultivating the Party Spirit.Based on the need of party building during the Anti-Japanese War and influenced by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union,Liu Shaoqi summed up the early revolutionary practice of the Communist Party of China.The theory of cultivating the Party Spirit has gone three stages:conceptualization,growth and development.Its theoretical sources covered the Marxist's theory of party building and China's traditional cultivation theory.Secondly,the thesis focuses on the main contents of Liu Shaoqi's theory of cultivating the Party Spirit.This article respectively shows the main contents of the theory:the necessity of cultivating the party spirit,the content of cultivating the party spirit and the basic way of cultivating the party spirit.Liu Shaoqi clarified the necessity of cultivating the party spirit from the social and historical development of the law,the status of the party after the change and the status of party members themselves.The content of cultivating the party spirit includes political self-restraint,theoretical cultivation,organizational discipline cultivation,style cultivation and moral cultivation.The basic ways to cultivate the party spirit are to study the theory,to participate in revolutionary practice,to carry out inner-party struggle,self-criticism,and so on.Finally,the paper expounds the contemporary value of Liu Shaoqi's theory of cultivating the Party Spirit.This theory has important theoretical and practical value.Deepening the study of Liu Shaoqi's cultivating the Party Spirit in the new situation of deepening the strict governance of the party comprehensively,it is an important enlightenment to strengthening party members' accomplishment and maintaining the purity of party members' advanced nature.
