Study On Liu Shaoqi's Party Building Thought

As the leader of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the Communist Party of China(CPC)needs continuous self-improvement,so as to forge the team into a stronger leading force that always walks ahead of the times and bring all nationalities of China to realize the great rejuvenation.Liu Shaoqi is a great Marxist,a proletarian revolutionary,a politician,a theoretician,and also,an important member of CPC's first-generation leadership.His thoughts on party building work is rich and profound,therefore,the study of it has crucial practical significance on building a better party,strengthening the foundation of administration and creating favorable political and ecological environments in the new eraThis paper consists of four parts.In chapter one,introduction of the purpose,significance,status at both home and abroad,ideas,methods and innovations of the study on Liu Shaoqi's thoughts are drafted.In chapter two,the description on the source and four stages of the thoughts are made.In chapter three,specific content of Liu Shaoqi's party building thoughts are discussed from five major aspects,namely,ideology building,politics building,organization building,work style building and system building.As a vital part of Mao Zedong's party building thoughts,Liu Shaoqi's thoughts pioneered the theory of party spirit cultivation,discussed the dialectical relationship between democracy and concentration and defined the party cadres as the backbone of the leadership,all of which,made great contribution on enriching Marxist proletarian party theory,leading Chinese revolution and guiding party building practice.On this basis,the three distinct characteristics of Liu Shaoqi's party building thoughts are summarized,that is,the pragmatic nature of the ideas formed in the investigation and research,the serious criticality formed in the revolutionary struggle,and the originality of the theory formed in the practical lessons.In chapter four,the historical contribution and the value to our time of Liu Shaoqi's party building thoughts are discussed.The thoughts are linked to the Party's 19th National Congress and party building work in the new era by this paper then well studied combining the world's situations,national conditions and the following aspects:focusing on theoretical building,thoroughly implementing Xi Jinping's thoughts of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era;carrying out the mass line,highlighting the people centered value orientation;strengthening party spirit and constantly improving party's political consciousness;strengthening the style of work and creating a clean and positive atmosphere political ecology.
