Park Geun-hye's Policy Toward Japan During The Government

The relationship between Korea and Japan is one of the most important bilateral relations in Northeast Asia.These two countries have an important status to each other and have also served as America's closest ally in the East Asia.Because of handling by America,Korea-Japan has less contact during the cold war.By the drastic changes in Eastern Europe and collapse of the Soviet Union,the relationship of Korea-Japan get into a new development stage without controlling stand-offs in the cold war.Still by historical problems and territorial dispute,the development of Korea-Japan is not smoothly but exist friction and conflict.The Korea adjusts the policy to Japan in the government of Park Geun-hye because of the weakness of the economic growth,stress from America and the nuclear threats from North Korea and recovers the exchanges and cooperation with Japan in the fields of politics,economics,culture and military.It has an ignored positive significance of improve the relationship between Korea and Japan.The historical problem is always an important factor of development of Korea-Japan.It will not be solved in the short time.There still exist many unsure factors of the development for Korea and Japan in the future years.Japan should have correct cognition in historical problems and keep the sincerely attitude towards Korea.On the contrary,the Korea should also explore the suitable way to improve the relationship of two countries.As one of the most important bilateral relations,Korea should make great efforts to promote the peace and stability as well as flourish and development in the Northeast Asian.
