| The research object and behavior subject of traditional regionalism are regional ontology.The new regionalism with cross-regional cooperation between advanced economies and underdeveloped economies has broken the traditional geographical boundaries and achieved cross-regional connectivity.East Asia's regional integration has experienced the development of new regionalism in East Asia.It has gradually entered the stage of East Asian open regionalism that relied on internal coordination and linkage to get rid of external developed economies.East Asia's open regionalism recognizes the existence of sub-regional entities in the region and the important role of countries outside the region.It has the characteristics of being inclusive and open to the outside world.The structural characteristics and internal relations of the two sub-regions of Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia can be explained by the calabash pattern.From the two dimensions of space(geography)and time(history),the East Asia consisting of Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia has an integral indivisibility,and the Southeast Asia sub-region has derived sub-regional identity and further developed into ASEAN Community as a regional entity.At present,the institutionalized cooperation in the two sub-regions is carried out at the three levels of the "10+3" mechanism,the three "10+1" mechanisms,and the "small-area cooperation mechanism",and docking in specific areas such as security,trade,and humanities.This paper believes that the rational development path of the Southeast Asian sub-region is based on the institutional linkage between Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia to build the ASEAN Community.The ASEAN Community is part of the East Asia Community.The integrity of the East Asia is the precondition for the independence of the Southeast Asian region,and Northeast Asia is the policy of Southeast Asia.In the priority direction,the balance of great powers is not conducive to regional integration in East Asia. |
