Research On The Employment Problem Of College Students From The Perspective Of Harmonious Society

Since the Reform and Open to the Outside World, China has experienced fast economic growth for nearly30years. However, this fast growth doesn't guarantee the lifting of employment rate. Employment rate is an important economic index. Recently global economy is complicated and variable, so increasing employment rate is one of the fundamental challenge facing every country. The issue of college students'employment is not only relates to college students themselves, but also has influences on the families, enterprises, colleges and the whole society. Mostly, this issue relates to the construction of harmonious society.This paper constitutes four parts:In the first part, I define some concepts, including harmonious society, employment and college students'employment. Furthermore, I explain Marxism employment theory and western employment theory, such as market supply-demand theory, effective demand deficiency theory and structural unemployment theory. And this part is the basis of the whole paper. In the second part, on the basis of the analysis of situation of employment in our country, I point out the problem of college students. In the third part, I point out the subjective and objective reasons in these problems. In the last part, I draw lessons from foreign countries, and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
