Senior middle school is an important stage of individual growth and development,learning is the main task of this period,get good grades,well into the ideal university is their main goal.But Physical and mental development imbalances of this period,and affected by the heavy task of learning and the pressure of college entrance examination they have lots of problems in self-control learning.Therefore,understanding the status of self-control learning and difficulties and problems of students,to explore the reasons of low self-control learning is important to physical and mental health of senior middle school students.This study include two parts,the first part using scale of self-control learning,Radloff ‘s Center for Epidemologic Studies Depression Scale,Emotion Regulation Questionnaire,surveyed eight classes of 385 students in a senior middle school of Zhangzhou,the results are as follows:(1)The study suggested an interactive effect of grade and wether the one-child on self-control learning,differences exist only child,third grade lower than the other two grades,there was not significant difference of non-only child;(2)The study suggested an interactive effect of grade and gender on self-control learning,third grade lower than the other two grades of girls,there was not significant difference of boys.(3)The study also suggested an interactive effect of grade and wether the one-child on cognitive reappraisal,differences exist only child,third grade lower than the other two grades,there was not significant difference of non-only child;(4)self-control learning can negatively predict depression,Cognitive reappraisal partially mediated between self-control learning and depression in the senior middle school students.The second study interview for the study of low self-control learning students,used content analysis methods for data analysis,coding,concluded as follows:(1)Personal factors affect to self-control learning of the senior middle school students are lazy,interest,basic level,goal setting,behavior habits,negative emotions;the external factors are the difficulty of knowledge,the teacher teaching,learning environment,outside pressure.(2)The adverse consequences of low self-control learning has negative emotions,negative cognitive and poorbehavior.(3)The self-regulation strategy about self-control learning is simple,the effect is obvious.Some mitigation measures are positive,such as solve the problem,change strategy,and emotion regulation;but there are also a number of mitigation measures have a negative meaning,such as fantasy,blind force yourself to learning,be discouraged.
