The concept of self-efficacy was first proposed by Bandura. Mathematics learning self-efficacy comes based on the self efficacy. Mathematics learning self-efficacy refers to the ability that students need in the process of mathematics learning of the target behavior expectations or beliefs.There are a lot of developments related to self-efficacy of middle school students in mathematics and mathematics achievement. Most of the results of the study show that learning math self-efficacy and math performance is closely related to mathematics achievement. But the research about the characteristics of the development of mathematics self-efficacy students learning results have some differences. I read and considered many related research. After that, I had investigation study in the middle school in Nanjing.I selected two classes in each grade, a key class and a regular class, and use SPSS17.0 and Excel for data processing. And here come the following conclusions:(1) Most of the junior high school students mathematics learning self-efficacy is higher than the median level;(2) Grade 1 is lower than grade 2 in maths learning self efficacy and effectiveness of individual dimensions,but in some dimensions efficiency higher than grade 2.
