Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Criterion requires teachers to update their teaching concepts and to lead students to learn to do self-study,exploration and cooperation so as to develop their all life learning ability.Nowadays, group cooperation is increasingly popular with both students and teachers. However, many teacher can't make good use of it,causing students lose interest in learning.Thus,task-based group cooperative teaching appears. My paper takes the senior high school chemistry that I am teaching for example to do some research in “task-based group cooperative learning mode”(to combine task-based teaching with group cooperation)with the methodology of document, questionnaire, interview, observation and experiment according to the new teaching concepts. After my teaching practice and my analysis of the experiment results,my conclusion has finally come out: the task-based group cooperative learning is good for arousing the students' interest in learning chemistry, increasing their ability of analyzing and solving problems, and making them cooperate and communicate efficiently. This way of teaching helps students to get good marks in tests as well, especially for those who are weak in chemistry.Meanwhile,it also helps teachers themselves to arrive at a higher level in their teaching ability.
