Research On The Current Situation Of The Development Of Sports Art Courses In Colleges And Universities In Shaanxi Province

With the development of society, the Physical Education has been conducted a series of reforms so that the Art and Physical Education Curriculum has been the main part of collage's PE, which is a new and popular. The Art and Physical Education curriculum includes 11 small items:sports aerobics, artistic gymnastics, cheer-leading gymnastics, line dance, aerobic dance, hip-hop, jazz, sports dance, yoga, shaping beauty and national dance. The Art and Physical Education curriculum is full of performances, artistic and appreciation so that it can not only be beneficial to the body of students and also be used for training students' imagination and creativity. With so many advantages compared to common PE course, the Art and Physical Education curriculum has been very popular with students and been the major course of collages'.The research in this paper is based on the method of reading literature materials, doing questionnaire survey and taking some logic analysis and making some investigations randomly about39 teachers and 750 students in 21 collages of Shannxi. Then we analyze the current situation of the Art and Physical Education in collages of Shaanxi from the aspects of the students' learning effect, the using of teachers, the specially which restricts the progress of it. Also, we give some suggestions and measures to promote the development of the Art and Physical Education in collages. We conclude that:1st, the Art and Physical Education which has a wide developing prospect has been carried out in collages, but only aerobics and aerobics dance has been the compulsory course in collage of Shannxi, the other has been the optional course or none of them.2nd, although the students have a deeply love on the Art and Physical Education, but they have not a enough knowledge on it, most of them learn it only by classroom teaching because the lack of publicity or courses in collages.3rd, although the students feel highly satisfaction at the Art and Physical Education, it is disadvantage for getting teaching purpose and have a great influence on teaching because the poor of available field and facilities.4^th, it is hard to guarantee the teaching quality because the lack of normally training, the difference of female and male teachers, the older of teachers, expect that aerobic dance5^th, although they have completely teaching plans on the Art and Physical Education, it is not enough for teaching with the lack of teaching materials.6^th, it is worth of using for reference and learning for us in collages which is full of specialty in the Art and Physical Education, such as XI'an Jiaotong university and XI'an university of Science and Technology.
