Assessment of children's development is an important part of pre-school education assessment and it plays a significant role in the development of children.However,the current assessment methods are facing some problems.For example,it mainly depends on external assessment and the content is more about knowledge and skills with less manners and abilities.The assessment is also lacking adequate accuracy and comprehensiveness.In addition,the result of assessment equals to examination of teachers.According to the assessment contents of children's development in Shanghai,this practical research on life-activities-embedded assessment of children's development sorts out assessment index of children's development that can be observed in different aspects of living activities.Meanwhile based on the contents of assessment,this thesis discusses the approach of assessment,the method and tool to collect and record information and the acquisition of procedural assessment results.On the basis of practice,this thesis summarizes the process of life activities-embedded assessment of children's development,and sorts out some important strategies.
