With the deepening of basic education curriculum reform,the construction of various disciplines "core literacy" has become a top priority.Scaffolding instruction model claims that students take the initiative to complete the meaning of knowledge construction under the teachers' "support".Scaffolding instruction model puts forward the creative insights in dealing with aspect of the "teaching" and "learning" the relationship,becoming a hot topic of classroom teaching reform.By reading a large number of relevant literatures,the author combed the scaffolding instruction model research status at home and abroad and the summary of relevant theories,on this basis,this paper expounds the related concepts of scaffolding instruction model and the basic teaching links.Through the investigation of the current high school student's geography learning situation,reveal the problems of high school students' geography learning in current teaching mode.The survey included student questionnaires and teacher interviews.Through the student questionnaire,understand the level of motivation for students to learn geography,Geography learning ability,Attitudes towards existing teaching models.Through interview teacher,understand the existing problems of high school students studying geography,relevant reasons,and change strategy.Based on the related data and own experience and reflection in practical application,summary the application of the principles and application suggestions of scaffolding teaching mode in the high school geography teaching.The application principle includes the principle of integrity and the principle of bracket setting.Scaffolding instruction model applied in the high school geography teaching from the aspects of situation of creating,establishment of recent development zones,and the construction of the conceptual framework,the use of stent type,independent exploration and effectively in the link of collaborative learning to build.In order to realize the applicability and effectiveness of the scaffolding teaching mode in high school geography teaching,carry on the related experimental study.Study have shown that: Scaffolding instruction model in the application of high school geography teaching can improve the high school geography grades;Scaffolding instruction model inspired the students learning initiative of geography;Scaffolding instruction model good for improve core "geographic literacy" essential ability to learn.But at the same time,the application of scaffolding instruction model in the actual teaching is also all aspects of the problems and deficiencies: spend moretime;for geography teachers' professional knowledge and business level put forward higher request,the geography teacher's professional accomplishment should be improved.Finally,the research on the teaching model of stent is prospected: The application of scaffolding teaching model in different high school geography knowledge modules needs further study;Construction of high school geography support library for students online inquiries;Constructing a new Geography Learning Evaluation System under the framework of Scaffolding instruction model.
