| Ministry of education of the high school mathematics curriculum standards revision team leader Professor Wang Shangzhi articulated six core qualities of high school mathematics,namely mathematical abstraction,logic,mathematical modeling,math,Visual imagery,and data analysis.Core quality,core training,"the all-round development of people",training to adapt to the lifelong development of essential character and key ability and social Development needs.Ability through mathematical abstraction in mathematics,and also ranked first in six key literacy is essential.This paper uses the literature survey method,questionnaire,test method,through mathematical abstraction degree and abstraction is very difficult,a mathematical abstraction ability evaluation framework,analyzing the status quo of high school students ability of mathematical abstraction,which suggests some recommendations on fostering high school students ability of mathematical abstraction.This study in Jiangsu Province,a city public school and two high school classes of the private school survey,questionnaires,239,effective recovery of 239,allocation of test volume 239,effective recovery of 238.Through the analysis of survey data to Excel and Spss18.0,and get the following results:Questionnaire:(1)The students interested in math than students who do not like math,Mathematical abstraction ability.(2)Most students are not abstract mathematical problems in life,problem-solving,thinking of life is less.(3)The cultivation of mathematical abstraction ability enough,not really implemented in the clas sroom,in the lead needs to be improved.(4)Students to pay enough attention to the ability of mathematical abstraction.Test survey:(1)Most of the students ability of mathematical abstraction remain symbolic stage,only a small number of students reached universal stage,the establishment of universal stages of laws,pattern s or models and be able to explain things in a general sense this abstraction process needs to be improved.From here,we can know high school students’ mathematical abstraction capability is weak.(2)Private school students’ ability of mathematical abstraction higher than public school students ability of mathematical abstraction.Especially in the symbols and the ubiquitous stage,the gap of the two schools.(3)Students ability of mathematical abstraction classes in private schools than public schools cl asses high students ability of mathematical abstraction.Mainly in the universal phase difference i s bigger.Symbols and pervasive phases of the abstract of the same,but the solution of an abstract on difficult topics,students in private schools than public school students mathematical abstraction ability.(4)The classes of private schools students and public school classes of students’ ability of mathematical abstraction in symbolic stage is slightly different,but from the universal stage,two school classes of students’ ability of mathematical abstraction were little changed.(5)The mathematical abstraction ability has nothing to do with sex.From the correlation test and the accuracy of each stage,is not related to the mathematical abstraction ability and gender. |
