The comprehensive inquiry course is located in the new textbook after each unit, playing a link and practice function, compared with the old textbook arrangement, this is a major change in the new curriculum. The new curriculum reform to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability as the focus, and actively guide students to participate actively, willing to explore, good practice, project teaching method applied to the comprehensive inquiry course is focused on the concept of the new curriculum reform. However, there are many problems in the first-line practice of comprehensive inquiry course, and the research of academia is more and more. For some problems that are not mentioned or unresolved, such as difficult to grasp teaching methods, limited teaching time, lack of inquiry, and the possible application of project teaching methods in thought and reality, such as the lack of comprehensive inquiry The contradiction between the long time and the contradiction between the students' ability and the high demand of the project research ability. This paper tries to solve these problems through the benign transformation of the project teaching method.However, there are not many researches on the project teaching method in the ideological and political course, and there are few studies in the comprehensive inquiry course. Therefore, this paper first summarizes the project through the comparison between the project teaching method and other new teaching methods The teaching method has the characteristics of project as the center, the result as the driving force, the real situation as the learning environment.Through the analysis of the characteristics and the analysis of the comprehensive inquiry course,it is concluded that the project teaching method is applied to the feasibility and necessity of the comprehensive inquiry course, which is one of the key points of this paper. Then, according to some key problems existing in the practical teaching course and some problems of the project teaching method applied to the comprehensive inquiry course, the paper puts forward the countermeasures of project miniaturization, developing interdisciplinary project and providing guidance documents, so that the project teaching method The application of the comprehensive inquiry to improve the effectiveness of teaching, while reducing the burden on teachers and students. Finally, in order to verify the operability and validity of the project teaching method applied to the comprehensive inquiry course teaching, the action research is carried out, and the effect is summarized and rethought.
