To understand Nanjing junior middle school students in the peer relationship development of the new media environment,we select the Tencent QQ as the medium of social investigation.This study examines the QQ usage of Nanjing junior middle school students,peer relationship and their academic performance and analyzed their relationship,aims to provide corresponding guidance for the school and family education.This study used literature study and questionnaire investigation method to carry out the research.After refer to the related literature,from September to November in 2015,selection of Nanjing Hongguang junior middle school and Xiaolingwei junior middle school students to participate in the survey,questionnaires out of 630,recycling questionnaire,620,601 valid questionnaires.Use SPSS19.0 analysis of data processing,analysis of the junior middle school students peer relations,QQ use present situation,the relationship between the academic achievement.Almost all participate in the survey of junior middle school students in the use of QQ and almost all joined the respective class QQ group,almost all the students have more than two years' experience in using QQ.The girls use is slightly higher than boys,2 grade student's utilization rate is higher than the first.Smart phones have replaced computers as the main hardware platform using QQ in junior high school students.Students use QQ every day time with the student's family income,parents'cultural levels were positively correlated."In order to keep in touch with friends," "make friends,expand the network" is the most important factor in junior middle school students use QQ.Junior high school students use QQ mainly to contact,good friends and classmates.Peer acceptance level of junior high school students and their academic achievement was significantly positive correlation;With Q-age has significant negative correlation;The junior middle school students academic performance and use QQ every day time also show significant negative correlation.Junior high school students in a critical period of life development,interactions between peers requirements become very strong.With the continuous development of Internet technology,network has more and more influence in junior middle school students contact way.Therefore,parents and school administrators should not only focus on student achievement,also to attach importance to students' psychological activities.Parents and school administrators should be strictly management of junior middle school students use network communication equipment and electronic products;Through group counseling and individual counseling to cultivate junior middle school students and reasonable way of communication,establish a good peer group,and promote the all-round development of students.
