In nearly twenty years since the 21st century, the sharp development of the economy and science & technology have brought tremendous revolutionary changes to people's life. After graduation, faced with the knowledge updated swiftly and the amount expanding, a person who has the independent learning and the ability of independent innovation can keep pace with the Times. Preview is a considerably effective way to cultivate autonomous learning ability. One of the characteristics of mathematics is to generalize reality and abstraction. It is vital for human's rational thinking and the spiritual cultivation of the world from scientific perspective . So,learning to preview mathematics effectively is indispensable for every citizen's basic literacy. Although many scholars and teachers have advocated preview, most students haven't formed the habit of previewing in advance. Therefore, this paper is based on the related education teaching theory and previous people who have done research on preview for reference, in order to conduct effective design and practical research on previewing high school mathematics.This research adopts the main methods : document study, investigation research,case analysis. The operation steps are as follows. We carry out document study first.Then questionnaire and individual interview about math teachers and students of our school are performed, which helps to understand their recognition concerning preview and the methods employed. After that, we combine the learning condition with the theory for further exploration, do research on the preview activities list and practice from different angles, and pay attention to students' improvement of their capacity in the mode "designing a preview list-- previewing-- learning--reflection-- then redesigning a preview list".Through this research, it is believed that high school maths needs to be previewed. But in terms of preview lists and the usage of it, we should take students'learning ability and the individual differences of learning interest into consideration.The preview method of the designing ]ists is conformed to the related educational teaching theory. It can arouse students' initiative learning,cultivate students'autonomous learning ability and help to create more possibilities for students' lifelong learning.
