With the rapid development of society,innovation ability is increasingly becoming an important factor to reflect a person’s ability.Creative thinking is an important embodiment of innovation ability.As an important factor of creative thinking,reverse thinking plays an important role in the development of society.Middle school period is an important stage for students to develop their thinking.So it is important for teachers to cultivate the students’ ability of mathematical reverse thinking.This can not only improve the ability of learning,but also conductive to the development of innovative thinking.The first part of the paper introuduces the concept of thinking,mathematical thinking and the concept and characteristics of reverse thinking.Then it discusses the reverse thinking of mathematics.This paper investigates the present situation of reverse thinking ability of junior middle school students in Dezhou city of Shandong province.Through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data,the writer summed up the problems of the junior high school students in the application of reverse thinking.Based on the results of the survey,the writer summed up the junior high school students’ ability of reverse thinking and the problems of using of the reverse thinking.Based on the conclusion of quantitative and qualitative analysis,the writer summed up several factors affecting the ability of junior high school students’ mathematical thinking: the teachers’ teaching concept and ability;teaching organization form;students’ mastery of knowledge and the students’ thinking quality.Then combined with the actual of mathematics teaching.This paper puts for ward some suggestions on how to train the students’ ability of mathematics reverse thinking from two aspects of teachers and teaching.As teachers,they should improve their own quality by changing their teaching ideas,enhance the awareness of the student s and so on.In the teaching process,teachers can creat situation to lead students to think actively,guide students to explore the nature of knowledge and train the reverse thinking of students in the teaching of problem solving.
