Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has placed innovation at the core of China's overall development.The development of science and technology and the progress of society all depend on continuous innovation.But contrarian thinking is an important part of the creative thinking,is the carrier of creative thinking training,therefore it is necessary to strengthen the students in the mathematics teaching of reverse thinking ability,develop the students' ability of reverse thinking can improve students' flexibility,divergent thinking,help students to convert ideas,from multi-angle view and solve problems.This is of great help to develop students' innovative thinking.High school stage is an important stage for the development of students' thinking.If teachers can seize the opportunity to cultivate students' reverse thinking during this period,it will be of great help to the development of students' future innovation ability.Therefore,the research of this topic has important theoretical and practical significance.In order to help high school mathematics teachers to strengthen the cultivation of students' mathematical reverse thinking ability,the author adopts literature method,interview method and test paper method to carry out the research.Through the test paper,the students were investigated the application of specific mathematical reverse thinking problem solving methods,and the students were interviewed randomly after the test combined with the test results.Through interviews with teachers,this paper investigates the teachers' views on the cultivation of reverse thinking,the choice of teaching methods,and the difficulties in the cultivation of thinking.It is found that in the process of cultivating reverse thinking in mathematics,there are some problems,such as the single form of classroom teaching,the single way of teaching evaluation,the serious thinking pattern of students,the insufficient degree of thinking about problems,the poor ability of generalization and reflection,and the lack of confidence of students in learning.In view of the investigation and research on the current situation of students' mathematical reverse thinking ability,the author puts forward some suggestions to improve teachers' own quality and to strengthen the cultivation of students' mathematical reverse thinking ability through the teaching of mathematical concepts,mathematical theorems,mathematical formulas and mathematical methods in the classroom,for the reference of front-line teachers.
