In the era of network information, chemical education should follow the progress of the time. The features of Microcomputer-Based Laboratory (MBL), convenience, accuracy, high efficiency and digitization, meet the requirements of the information age. In recent years, the MBL have rapid development ,but still more application in the MBL still apply in demonstration experiment of teachers, experimental study or interest group activities. The evaluation?selection and implementation of the MBL in whole class remain to be further explored. This present study is an empirical study focusing on "Chemistry Digital Experiment Assessment" using four cases of MBL experiments as research subject and adopting various research methods such as literature review, triangulation.Students conducted the experiments and received feedback based on the Australian ACELL (Advancing Chemistry by Enhancing Learning in the Laboratory) evaluation system to test its value and feasibility of the chemical digital experiments in Senior High School in China. This research consists of five chapters. Chapter One is "introduction" which offers an overview of the study through the introduction to research background, significance of the study, the structure of the thesis and research methods. Chapter Two is the "Literature Review " In this chapter, it begins with the theoretical basis, classification and generalization of previous studies at home and abroad related to chemical digital experiments. Chapter Three mainly introduces the origin and development of ACELL, previous experimental samples and evaluation system, data analysis and existing research results. Chapter Four is the administration of experiments, including the optimization of the four experiments, students'implementation of experiments, collection of students' ASLE feedback, and data analysis of ASLE feedback from 30 students. Next is about Rank and inspection(Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test) analysis on students' feedback by ACELL and consistency analysis between Workshop teacher feedback and students' feedback. Chapter Five is about research conclusions and reflection. The findings are as follows: the four MBL experiments received high approval from participants which proved the value and feasibility of the experiments. 1) The chemical digital experiment closely related to chemical textbook can be done in 40 minutes. 2) The Lab handouts give clear objectives and principles of the experiments, specific experimental procedures, evaluation criteria which can help students do the inquiry by themselves. 3) Students made significant gains from the experiments, from knowledge, experimental skills to data analysis ability. 4) The students show great interests in the chemical digital experiments, harvesting joy and sense of achievement.5) From the feedback, teachers and students are very positive.
