Peer assessment is a kind of interactive evaluation method, which is based on the criteria to evaluate the performance of peers. A large number of literature studies show that peer assessment is widely used in various disciplines of higher education, such as science, computer science, social science. Peer assessment can improve the students' advanced thinking and learning motivation, and it is a good evaluation method for adult learners. With the rapid development of information technology, the significance of anonymity in educational research and practice has begun to emerge. Based on the previous studies, this paper discusses the impact of the real-name or anonymous peer assessment on the students'homework motivation based on the WeChat platform.Research results of domestic and foreign scholars in the field of homework motivation, peer assessment, real-name and anonymous peer assessment provides a theoretical and empirical reference for the establishment of the college students' homework motivation questionnaire and the content analysis system of peer assessment. This study adopts the method of quasi-experimental research, one class of students were randomly divided into real-name group and anonymous group for a semester teaching experiment. The two groups of students use the real-name and anonymous evaluation method in the WeChat public platform "pocket class" homework evaluation system for the "modern educational technology" course of Web-based peer assessment activities. In this study, before and after the experiment, the homework motivation questionnaire was compiled to understand the change of the motivation of the real-name group and the anonymous group in the pretest and posttest; through the analysis of the quantitative data and qualitative data recorded in the "pocket class" of the performance appraisal system, we can get a deeper understanding of the changes of the students' homework motivation. Data collection and analysis includes three aspects, the first part is the analysis of the real-name group and the anonymous group before and after the student homework motivation questionnaire survey, the second part is the quantitative analysis of the data recorded in the"pocket classroom", the third part is the text analysis of the evaluation contents of the two groups of students. Finally, the relationship between peer assessment and college students'homework motivation is analyzed through quantitative data. The results show that: (1) peer assessment can improve the students' homework motivation. In the process of using the peer assessment, the homework motivation of the anonymous group is significantly improved, and the motivation of the real-name group is also improved; (2) the number of comments is a significant predictor of real-name and anonymous group students' homework motivation; (3) Supportive comments, cognitive comments, metacognitive comments are significantly positively related to college students'homework motivation, the supportive comments in the affective dimension and cognitive dimensions are the significant predictors of real-name and anonymous group students'homework motivation.
