Under the background of the national basi c education curriculum reform,the reform of physical education curriculum is in full swing.As a direct participant in teaching work,the role of physical education teachers is highlighted,and its related ability and quality have great influence on the refor m of PE curriculum.In order to promote the process of physical education curriculum reform,improve the ability and quality of teachers is imperative.In the study of teachers' ability and quali ty,we find that "com petency" is more relevant and more targeted and "teaching ef ficacy" is closely related to the teaching effect of teachers in curricu lum reform.To this end,this study introduces the competency and teaching ef ficacy concept of teacher-related ability a nd quality of targeted discussion.On the basis of summa rizing the existing research,this paper mainly uses the m easurement method to study the com petency and the level of teaching efficacy of PE teachers in middle schools in Tianjin.Through the analysis and discussion of the results,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The basic situation of physical education teachersThe structure of PE teachers in Tianjin middle school is young;the proportion of teachers in senior titles is relatively small,and the overall level of teachers' ranks is low and the structure is not reasonable.(2)Competency levelTianjin middle school PE teacher com petency at a high level.The level of competency of experts is higher than that of Tianjin,and the level of com petency of experts is relatively stable and stable.There is a big dif ference in the com petency level of the new hand type,the skilled person and the expert type m iddle school,and the level of the individual subordinate ability is also slightly different.The position of teaching and organization ability is with the novice type-skilled type-expert type Gradually rising trend.(3)The level of teaching efficacyThe overall sense of teaching ef fectiveness of PE teachers in m iddle schools in Tianjin is at a high level,and the level of each sub-dimension is relatively balanced.The level of teaching efficacy of teachers in the overall style-the new type-the average level of teaching sk ill in Tianjin is increas ed,and the developm ent of the pedigree teachers' teaching efficacy is balanced and stable.There is no difference between the leve l of teaching skill and the level of teaching efficacy of expert type teachers,and the level of teaching efficacy of skilled and expert teachers is quite different.(4)The relationship between competency and teaching efficacyThere is a significant positive correlation between the competency of PE teachers in general,skilled and expe rt secondary schools,and ther e is a sign ificant negative correlation between the competency of freshmen secondary school PE teachers and teaching efficacy.There are som e dislocations in the relationship b etween the competency and the teaching ef ficacy of the teachers in the m iddle school of Tianjin middle school physical education teachers.Tianjin City as a whole,novice type,skilled type,expert type middle school PE teacher teaching efficacy sense of competency have a certain role in the prediction,in which skilled teachers and expert teachers teaching efficacy of competency to predict the role of greater.
