Since psychological monitor set up in class in 2004,the system of psychological monitor has played an extremely important role in the mental health education of college students.However,there are not many researches on psychological monitor,and there are few tools to measure for the competency of psychological monitor in universities.In this study,according to the references and the procedure of psychological scale,the questionnaire of the competency of psychological monitor in universities are designed by using interview method and survey method,which can fit psychological monitors with their job.To analyze the situation about the competency of psychological monitor in universities and self-efficacy and explore the relationship between them,this questionnaire and general self-efficacy scale(GSES)have been used.It is beneficial for psychological monitor to work better and make the college mental health education effective.The following conclusions are drawn from two studies.1.The competency model of psychological monitor in universities is composed of affinity,post-skills,self-enhancement,post-development,post-identity and post-commitment.2.According the confirmatory factor analysis,the validity of the competency of psychological monitor in universities is better.All indicators basically meet requirements.It is shown that this questionnaire can be a good tool to measure the competency of psychological monitor in universities.3.The total score and the scores of each dimension of the competency of psychological monitor in universities are higher.The order of the scores of each dimension is affinity >post-commitment > post-development > self-enhancement > post-identity >post-skills.4.There are no significant differences in self-efficacy,total score of post-competency and all dimensions between different genders.5.There are very significant differences in the dimensions of self-efficacy,total score of post-competency,affinity,self-enhancement,post-identity and post-commitment among the psychological monitor of different grades.And the grade differences in the dimensions of post-skills and post-development reach a significant level.6.There are significant differences in the dimensions of self-efficacy and affinity among the psychological monitor from different places of origin.The scores of psychological monitor from urban areas are higher than those from rural areas in the dimensions of affinity and self-efficacy.7.Psychological monitors of different disciplines have significant differences in the dimensions of self-efficacy and post-competency,and the differences in the dimensions of post-commitment reach a significant level.Moreover,psychological monitors of Arts and sports have relatively high scores in these three aspects.8.There is a significant positive correlation between the total score and each dimension of the competency of psychological monitor in universities and self-efficacy.In order to promote the construction and development of mental health education system in colleges and universities,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of accurate selection,effective appointment and systematic training.
