Research On Network Management Of Fixed Assets In Colleges And Universities

Along with the extremely fast development of higher education,fixed assets has become important foundation of the normal operation of universities.Scientific management of fixed assets is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of universities.Recently,fixed assets management in colleges and universities is at a critical transitional stage,it's significant to change the traditional manual accounting to the network approach in order to make full use of the fixed assets.Firstly,based on the theory of project management life cycle,this paper analyzes the whole process of network management of fixed assets in several colleges and universities of Yantai city on the basis of searching substantial literature.The whole process includes submission of procurement applications,the approval of the purchase applications,asset acquisition,acceptance of accounts,account management,maintenance management and change management.Secondly,the fixed assets management mode based on the network can not only realize the real-time management of the data,but also improve the work efficiency and make full use of the assets.Thirdly,the writer focuses on one university in Yantai as case study,analyzing the problems arising in the process of network management.Besides,this paper discusses the commonness and puts forward some reasonable suggestions.Network management of fixed assets in colleges and universities reform is gathering more momentum in knowledge economy and information era.In order to change the management mode,we should further improve the management system,enhance the awareness of the assets,strengthen business training,take advantages of the network,manage the project as a whole,develop management objectives and expand the project function,which can make the use of fixed assets more efficient,and better serve the survival and development of colleges and universities.
