Identity,is one of the concerns and research of sociology and anthropology.This article tries to solve the influence and function of national identity in practice in modern social life by asking questions about "what is nation" and "what is the meaning of nation".So far,the study of the Hmong people always remain in the history of the Hmong controversy,the Hmong cultural discourse,the Hmong identity mechanism and the Hmong education and development,especially the more and more Hmong scholars,praises for the history of the Hmong,praises for culture,construction of identity,advice on education and development.But few scholars,from the Hmong life to find the Hmong own problem to solve the idea of the Hmong culture of the critical spirit was completely abandoned in the praise and inheritance of the voice.Therefore,this paper mainly based on the field theory of Bourdieu's field theory,the use of anthropological field investigation method,case study method,through the Jinsha County,Guizhou Province,Li Town,Shuangxing Village,the main village of Hmong long field investigation,The influence and role of the ethnic identity of the Hmong nationality in the fields of state,society,local and branch,etc.,reflect and criticize its culture and practice.This paper argues that the small tribes of the Hmong nationality,which exist among the Hmong people,are surrounded by the surrounding ethnic groups,and the impact of modernization makes their culture gradually disappear.In order to protect their own culture and maintain national identity,the Guanwuji Hmong people continue to adjust and construct their own identity,and practice it for rationalization of the interpretation.In the impact of the crisis of cultural crises,the Guanwuji base ultimately chose to maintain and strengthen the self-supporting border,clan pressure and clan blood became the border of the founder and maintainers.
