Collective memory is an indispensable part of urban culture,Park is an indispensable public space in city life.The Park is not only the material space of people's communication activities,but also the carrier of urban culture and memory.As the first park in Chengdu City,The People's Park has witnessed the development of Chengdu in the past 106 years,carrying many memories of the city,and building a large number of collective memories.First of all,through the summary of the memory elements of the People's Park,this thesis concludes that the memory elements of the park include two major categories: the historical memory elements and the people's living memory elements.Then,the author uses the keyword table to analyze the collected interview data,and concludes that the collective memory of the public is mainly the people's living memory.In the civilian's narrative,collective memory is more about the people's living memory elements,while the official's narrative is more in the historical memory elements,but they can achieve the unity of the state through the people's life course.Therefore,it is of great significance to understand the construction of collective memory from the perspective of life course.This article mainly from the four principle of life course research to analyze the people of the collective memory of the park,finally obtains the collective memory in a certain time history of the social context of personal life trajectory and the macroscopic historical background.It is formed and survives in social relationships with family,friends,geography,media,social roles and expectations of individual screening of collective memory,individual practice and acquisition of personal initiative to further build the collective memory.
