At present,it is urgent to cultivate the students' ability to characterize the physical situation as a graphic in high school physics teaching,the ability of graphic representation is that:students have the ability and consciousness to solve the problem in their studies.The content of physics and the characteristics of its thinking make the graphic representation conform to the ideal model,regular experiment,physical concept graphic representation,physical process diagram and physical function image's expression in high school physics,and use Graphical representation in physics teaching can effectively promote students to solve physical problems.In this paper,we take middle school students to utilize the graphic representation to solve the physical problems as the research object,through the research of graphical representation theory and analysis of physical exercises in senior high school,summed up that the graphic representation have a great significance to the problem solving and the improvement of physical performance,Finally,through the questionnaire and mathematical statistics,quantitative analysis of the relationship between graphic representation and physics learning.The specific contents of this paper are as follows:(1)By analysis of the present situation of middle school students solving physics problems,physics content,thinking characteristics and the analysis of physical problems in the college entrance examination in recent years.It is concluded that graphic representation plays an important role in solving the physical problems of middle school students.(2)Through the search and study of the literature,it clarifies the concept of representation,graphic representation and the characteristics of graphic representation,This paper analyzes and summarizes the research status at home and abroad from the aspects of problem representation and subject figure representation.It is necessary to take deep research on high school physics representation,let students and teachers realize the importance of graphic representation in solving physical problems.And penetrate graphic representation into the physics study to improve their abilities of solving physics problems and physical performance.The graphic representation is classified,and the important role of graphic representation in physics learning is analyzed according to the four kinds of examples.It permeates every corner of high school physics.(3)On the basis of the previous analysis,we make the quantitative analysis of the effect of graphical representation on physical problem solving.This paper investigates the present situation of the application of graphic representation to solve the physical problems,by issuing questionnaires to 180 students in grade one and two in senior high school.The first part of the questionnaire is mainly to investigate whether students have the sense and attitude of graphic representation in physical learning;the second part is mainly investigate to whether there is an impact on students' physical problems in the case of graphs,and without maps,also indirectly examine whether the students have their own drawing habits in the absence of graphic;The third part will directly examine whether students have the ability of drawing graphics according to problems and using graphics to solve physics problems.Analysis of the relationship between graphic representation ability and physical performance in SPSS software and Excel concluded that the graphic representation ability is positively related to the physical problem solving.The paper also analyzes the influence of gender,age,and the difference between the gifted and the poor on the ability of graphic representation.Therefore,it is concluded that the graphic representation of boys is stronger than female students,and the ability of graphic representation of senior students is higher than that of the students,the regular class ability of graphic representation is not as good as that of key class students.Based on the results of questionnaire survey and relative data Statistical analysis,it is recommended that teachers should strengthen the ability of students to solve problems by graphic representation,such as the importance of classroom demonstration.And correct the wrong idea,choose good examples to guide students to practice,combined with the physical reality of life in the development of students' creativity,imagination and so on.The above research results provide the basic theory and application research for the middle school physics teaching and talent development.
