According to the provisions of the newly promulgated Art Curriculum Standard for compulsory Education(2011 edition),we can see that the art curriculum has increasingly highlighted the nature of humanity and pleasure,paying close attention to the students' learning process and emotional experience.Pay attention to the achievement of students' comprehensive quality ability.The traditional teaching method is not enough for students to fully appreciate the fun of fine arts study,so that they can learn new knowledge with a positive attitude.In combination with the traditional art teaching and the requirements of the new art curriculum,the author chooses the situational teaching method,which has formed a relatively complete system in the Chinese subject and which is the key point of arousing students' emotion,as the research object.The practice in the field of art design application in junior high school,and explore its concrete application in art subject.Firstly,according to the theory of constructivism and situational teaching,this paper analyzes the meaning and characteristics of situational teaching.Then,the disadvantages of situational teaching in traditional design application field are summarized,the significance of situational teaching in the field of design application is summarized and how to carry out situational teaching in the field of design and application more effectively is studied.Furthermore,combining the current situation of situation teaching in the field of art design application in junior high school,the effective solution to the implementation of situational teaching is obtained.Finally,combining theory and practice,the effective situational teaching in the field of design and application is carried out.Improve students' interest in learning,stimulate students' thinking,and enable students to actively participate in art design In an activity.
