Art education is an essential part of all-development education.It is said in Standards for Full Time Compulsory Education Fine Arts Courses(2011 Edition)that the primary target of art education is to know how to observe,imagine and innovate and to increase the appreciation of taste and ability.Based on the constructivism educational theory,the learner should construct the new knowledge system and should learn from the circumstance and practical activity.On account of constructivism,great attention has been paid to the relationship between students and teachers and the progress of independently experiencing,exploring and creating beauty.In a conclusion,the constructivism is a great motivation and ideological weapon for the new standard of art courses.The current task for an art teacher is to put the new teaching model of art education into the classroom experience beyond the traditional course principle,and to meet the demand of all-development education and art education.This paper is based on the constructivism teaching theory,for that the search of the current situation of art teaching and research of the constructivism teaching model have been done.A new art teaching model has been presented by and beyond the three typical teaching models based on the constructivism.It also provides experiences about putting constructivism art teaching model into junior art class,and the analysis and conclusion about constraints during the class and effects after the class.May it can be a reference for art teachers and be useful for all-development education.
