With the development of modern education technology and the proceeding of new curriculum reform,the micro-lesson teaching is active in education stage.The micro lesson based on the small video,the most remarkable characteristic is short and complete,and it can make learners to study anytime and anywhere with the aid of modern mobile devices.It is deeply loved by educators and learners.At present,the micro-lesson about high school biology teaching research is limited and poor quality.Therefore,with the content related High school biology,this paper designed different types of micro lesson and apply it to the actual teaching process to explore the role of micro courses in biology teaching.The research methods in this paper are literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and observation and action research.With the questionnaire and interview,this study investigated the present biology teaching situation of the Fourth Middle School of Yan 'an Baota District and the micro-lesson understanding of the teachers and students.The results indicated that there were problems existed relatively more in high school biology teaching,the most prominent problems in students are they seem not interested in biology classroom,lower class participation and poor self-learning ability,etc.Teachers and students lack of knowledge of the micro-lesson and the utilization is lower.In order to solve this problem,the paper taking the content of "gene essence and expression" as an example and designs four types of micro-lessons,knowledge teaching micro-lessons,experimental inquiry micro-lessons,exercise explanation micro-lessons and review micro-lessons.These four kinds of micro-classes are applied in biology teaching,trying to improve the problems.In the process of implementation of micro classes,by observing the status of student learning,analyzing learning outcomes,as well as the use of micro-class interviews,The results show that the experimental study of micro-class helped students to get specific perception of the experimental process,which makes it easier to summarize the experimental conclusions.The knowledge teaching micro-lessons made the students understand the molecular structure of DNA through the construction of three-dimensional structure of DNA,The exercise explanation micro-lessons are repeated by students to improve their accuracy when answering DNA molecular-related computational exercises,The review micro-lessons to help students master the gene transcription and translation of these two processes in some ways.Thus,The application of micro-lesson in high school biology teaching helps students understand the abstract knowledge more specifically,attract the attention of the students,improve the students'interest in learning and classroom participation,and students can use the micro-class video for independent study,so as to cultivate students' ability of autonomous learning.This study explores the role of micro-lesson in biology teaching from the perspective of combining micro-class and biology teaching,so as to enrich the resources of biology teaching,promote the effective combination of micro-course and biology teaching,and improve the teaching quality.
