It is commonly acknowledged that trust is one of the indispensible basic elements for sustainable development in education.In pedagogy,trust is regarded as one element for human learning and the vital foundation for harmonious relationship between teachers and students.However,in the domain of education,there are few studies on the trust between teachers and students and these studies are mainly based on scholars' subjective understanding.Each seems to have its inadequacies.Mutual trust of teachers and students lays a solid foundation for campus interpersonal relationship and teenagers' physical and mental health.Therefore,strengthening the trust between teachers and students contributes to physical and mental growth of teenagers and the improvement of relationship between teachers and students.Meanwhile,it contributes to the promotion of self-efficiency,home-school cooperation,campus safety and integrated development of teachers and students.It also contributes to the formation of our harmonious family and society.Based on the above research findings,it is meaningful to study strategies for enhancing mutual trust of teachers and students,ways for carrying out education for all-round development and methods for sustainable development of basic education.This thesis attempts to put forward effective strategies for enhancing trust between teachers and students in the junior middle school by taking action research method.In this process,proper interposition is given to teachers' and students' behaviors so that its influence in mutual trust of teachers and students is observed.And three points will be explored in detail.First,major factors and influential mechanisms that influence the trust between teachers and students in the junior middle school.Second,the interposition strategies for enhancing trust in the junior middle school.Third,the effects of interposition on enhancing the trust between teachers and students in the school.After half a year's study in S school,several conclusions can be drawn.First,junior middle school students have high trust in teachers' knowledge,ability and character.Second,comparing with teachers' appearance,junior middle school students concentrate more on their relations with teachers.Third,junior middle school students' trust in teachers is more closely related with their teachers' personalities rather than being related with students' demographic characteristics.Fourth,the degree of teachers' trust in students is lower than that of students'.Fifth,administrative intervention in education and teaching can effectively promote trust between teachers and students.However,too much intervention should be avoided because interpersonal trust between school administrators and teachers should be considered.Last but not least,trust between teachers and students can be further enhanced by working together with families and communities.Therefore,this thesis has worked out such improvement strategies.First,create the culture of mutual trust,including advanced school philosophy,a beautiful learning environment and cultural environment.Second,strengthen the mechanism of working system,including methodizing a school's overall work,standardizing a school's routine work and carrying a school's assessment work.Third,upgrade the level of mutual trust.For instance,teachers' performance should be observed,students' need should be met and more community resources should be sought for so that more space for development of mutual trust between teachers and students will be provided.
