Migrant workers have made significant contributions to China's economic growth and urban development. The quality of the migrant workers has an important impact on the future sustainable development and economic growth of China. Therefore, the government has increased the intensity of migrant workers'training. The new generation of migrant workers constitutes the main body of migrant workers following the increase and differentiation of migrant workers troop. Compared with the traditional migrant workers, the new generation of migrant workers is more willing to be trained and received higher levels of education. Migrant workers'decision on whether to participate in the training, however, to a certain extent is depended on their understanding towards the training. Therefore, research on the training attitude of new generation of migrant workers has great practical significance.Through access to a large number information on the attitude measurement research and the new generation of migrant workers training, on this basis, the questionnaire of this paper was formed in accordance with needs of the research.In this study, training attitude survey was conducted in 227 new generation migrant workers in the City of Nanning. Survey data was analyzed using statistical software SPSS11.5. The variety of new generation migrant workers'attitude toward training was analyzed using T-test based on a variety of factors including sex, ages, educational levels, professional nature departments, income levels, training experience and training wills. The findings of this study are as follows:(1) There were no remarkable differences on attitude toward the training between men and women new generation of migrant workers. However, new generation of female migrant workers'training wills were stronger than those of men.(2) Ages of migrant workers had significant impact on their attitudes toward the training. Compared to 16-22–year-old age group, the 23-27-year-old age group held more positive and favorable attitude to training. Younger migrant workers were more willing to be trained.(3) Education levels also significantly affected workers'attitude toward training. Migrant workers with middle school or lower education held the strongest favorable and positive attitude to training.(4) There were remarkable differences on attitude toward training among new generation of migrant workers working in different job areas. Those migrant workers who engaged in individual, private or foreign-funded enterprises are the most willing to be trained.(5) There were no remarkable differences on attitude toward the training among new generation migrant workers with different average incomes. Most workers with or without training will had an average monthly income of less than 1,000 Yuan.(6) There were no remarkable differences on attitude toward the training between the new generation of migrant workers with different training experience. New generation of migrant workers who had training experience were more willing to be trained again. On the contrary, those who had not training experience before were less willing to be trained.By analyzing the factors which could potentially affect the training attitude of new generation of migrant workers, suggestions for improving new generation of migrant workers'attitude of training are supposed:(1) Constructing better environment to care the migrant workers training in the entire society. (2) Strengthening educational and training information publicity efforts.(3) Perfect the mechanism for migrant workers training.(4) Mobilizing community resources to participate in the training of the new generation of migrant workers.
