Identification is the behavior of certain group concerns their idea, connect the self and reality.Since the nation-state has become the main form of countries, the constitutive of nation-state makes the tearing between national identity and state identity easier. It happens more in countries with vast territory. The idealistic national identity is more tolerate to multiple ethnics which leads to the unity between national and state identity. The cultural national identity tolerates less minor ethnics, leads to the inner tearing of national state identity, and their members are harder to melt into local environment in other countries.“Blackfoot” is the unique ethnic of typical cultural national sate. They firmly believe in their French identity while own a totally different state imagination compared with native French. The inner tearing inside “Blackfoot” identity is the concentrated reflection of defect of French national state identity, and also caused by the inner defect of colonial history. The colonial history makes the political entity of Suzerain larger than its territory while its national identity excludes the colonies.Colonizing is not the flush of civilization. For the maximization of economic value,Suzerain has to keep the different with colonies. The inner tearing inside “Blackfoot” is invisible during colonizing period, but exposed under the extreme condition during the Algerian War.The tearing has been cured after the war since the political entity of France has been shrunk to mainland, but it is just a cure in realistic while the spiritual tearing still brands inside “Blackfoot” and their descendants.
