In the field of television broadcasting system,video surveillance,conference-displaying platform and so on,Usually gather multi-channel television signal to process all kinds of images,then output vision signal to all kinds of displaying terminal through mainstream interface.But the BT.656 data,which is formed by digitizing television signal,can not be directly digitized,and has a low resolution and interlaced display.So need to make a series of processing,such as decoding the multi-channel signal and enhancing the images.In order to improve the data quality,the traditional method is processing the data by using software,which has a large volume platform and a low processing speed.Moreover if use hardware to process the data directly,the equipment will have a single function or occupy more logic resource,as a result,it lead to a higher cost.How to make this type of equipment have the characteristics of miniaturization,low cost,high speed and multi-function when processing the data,has become a hot research.To solve the problems above,this paper present a design scheme of multi-channel TV-HDMI Vido Converter based on FPGA,realizes the multi-channel video decoding,deinterlacing,zooming,HDMI driving,multi-mode displaying,converting YUV to RGB and so on,which applied to the general scene.In order to reduce the consumption of logic unit,design all the logic modules expect DDR2 read-write controller for specific function,and majorizate arithmetic when designing circuit.To assure the real-time video display,for the complicated calculating process,adopt assembly line designing method to improve processing speed.Each module is programmed by Verilog HDL and the related functional parameter of the module can be set by the user,and has strong universality.The paper mainly illustrates the overall design of the video converter and the detailed design of each module by Verilog HDL language.Firstly the paper describes the design of the overall framework,and specific analysis of the design of the overall framework,and specific analysis of the structure and function.Secondly,it explains the detailed design of each module,and set forth the effect drawing of the signal waveform collected by logic analyzer Signal Tap II and actual running waveform.After verification,the results are in coincidence with the writer's expectation,and the system meets the design requirements.
