Inner Mongolia Energy Structure Adjustment Research Based On Low Carbon Economy Perspective

With the development of industrialization, Energy has become the lifeblood in economic development. Increasing energy consumption is critical to rapid growth of the economy. Meanwhile, more and more energy used up caused serious environmental pollution and energy shortage, global warming has becoming the focus. For this reason, countries all over the world make efforts to develop "low carbon economy", which with low energy consumption and low pollution characteristics. Low carbon life has become the universal goal."Rich coal, less gas and oil resources" is the condition of the natural resources in Inner Mongolia, which determines coal-based energy structure in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Using coal as the main energy of the alarming energy structure lead to serious ecological problems, which has gradually becoming one of the constraints to Inner Mongolia's economy and society sustainable development. Paying much attention on the combination of economical sustainable growth and reducing the energy consumption, reasonable adjusting the energy structure improving the energy utilization, and forming new energy structure----mainly coal in induced, thermo-electric based, oil and gas resources and the development of new energy, which are the study objection of the paper.Based on the above situation, firstly, the paper describes the concept and of low carbon economy the necessary to develop low carbon economy in China, then analyzing the energy structure of the world and that of China. Based on the above, analyzing the characteristic of energy structure and their problems in Inner Mongolia. In accordance with the present problems in energy structure of Inner Mongolia, from the perspective of low-carbon economy raised the direction of energy structural adjustment and gives some policies measures in Inner Mongolia.From above analysis, the Conclusions of the paper are:?oil, coal and natural gas-based energy structure of the world, and Inner Mongolia energy structure is coal-based;?there are problem in Inner Mongolia's energy structure, which are: insufficient high quality liquid fuel which causing irrational energy structure, new energy is under utilization;?strategies for modifying the energy structure are: gradually reducing the production proportion of coal, paying attention to the utilization of natural gases, oil and renewable energy.In order to adjusting energy structure, some measures should be adopted, these measures are:?establishing a leadership organization;?making a plan;?adjusting the industry structure;?depending on the science and technology progress;?bettering off the policies;?enterprises as main forces and?strengthening the international cooperation.
