Analysis Of The Operation Of Hunan Province's Traffic Insurance And Its Countermeasures

Since July1,2006, as Chinese first statutory compulsory insurance, compulsory traffic accident liability insurance has much public attention focused on the coverage and rates. Compulsory traffic accident liability insurance in large part of China has been developing rapidly but the business is not very smooth, Hunan Province is no exception. Serious deficit deeply affect the development of the traffic compulsory insurance.For these reasons, this article analyze the origin and development of the compulsory traffic accident liability insurance, compensation for injuries caused by traffic accidents accountability principles and the characteristics and significance of the insurance system, based on the basic theoretical analysis.Then compare the compulsory traffic accident liability insurance system of United States, Japan, Germany and the UK for a comparative analysis, summarize the main experience accumulated of compulsory traffic accident liability insurance system of these countries. Describe the development process and situation of China. As comparison, investigate and analyze the problem in the compulsory traffic accident liability insurance of Hunan Province in the past years. To pay for the problem of Hunan Province and China, this article made some superficial strategies and suggestions in the last chapter. Maybe have some reference value to improve our compulsory traffic accident liability insurance.
