The article studies tourism traffic. And it combine tour and traffic together, we mainly explore the Xi'an tourism traffic behavior characteristics of tourists and their influencing factors. This article obtains information by doing questionnaire survey. According to the survey, there are five categories of information, including:visitors'basic information, basic information of travel, traffic behavior information of tourism, satisfaction about tourism traffic, suggestions on improving tourism traffic. The article's concludes the characteristics of the tourists'traffic behaviors by anglicizing the primary data basically. Selecting related factors which may affect the behaviors of tourists, for example:travel expenses in transportation, the time cost of transportation. And then using multiple linear regression method to analyze how the related factors affect tourists'overall satisfaction about tourism traffic in Xi'an. So the influence of each factor can be quantified. At the same time it is easy to find the main factors by establishing the regression equation of the overall satisfaction about tourism traffic. At last, author gives some related strategies and recommendations to develop a better market of tourism traffic by analyzing the survey results and combined with situation of the currant market of tourism traffic. These strategies and recommendations range over three aspects, including:product strategy, marketing strategy and promotional pricing strategies.The innovation of this paper is selecting tourism traffic which is rarely studied as the object of study. And this paper uses qualitative and quantitative research methods to study the problem as well as draw conclusions as followed:First, tourists pay great attention to tourism traffic, and look forward to be served more and better products of tourism traffic. So these exists a great potential market of tourism traffic in Xi'an. The survey results show that the tourist income, the number of attractions which a tourist visits in a single-day and other related factor can affect tourists'traffic behaviors.Second, from the results of multiple linear regression equation, we can see that the average level of monthly income, personal transportation costs for single trip travel and time cost of travel in the average day have a negative impact on overall satisfaction. On the contrary, the number of attractions which a tourist visits in a single-day has a positive on overall satisfaction. These results can help us to make suitable advices on the development of tourism traffic.Third, these are some drawbacks on the development of market of tourism traffic in Xi'an, and exists a great potential market of tourism traffic in Xi'an. Therefore, this article gives some related strategies and recommendations range over three aspects, including: product strategy, marketing strategy and promotional pricing strategies, in order to develop a better market of tourism traffic.
