Along with the development and improvement of China's market economy, listed companies have become the main part of the market economy and played a more and more important role in the whole social and economic development. With the continuous perfection of the securities market, the shareholders of listed companies, managers, creditors, employees,the government and other stakeholders increasingly concerned about the performance of listed companies, the performance evaluation of listed companies has become an increasingly important issue of the economy.Scientific and effective business performance evaluation, can reflect the business reality and reveal the business development prospects, can diagnose business problems for the managers to improve business performance, can provide a reference for the investors to make investment decisions, can also provide effective information support for the creditors, employees, the government and other stakeholders. This thesis first reviews the development course of business performance evaluation research at home and abroad, and then introduces the related concepts and theories of business performance evaluation, and the business performance evaluation system, and then summarizes the entropy weight method and the basic principle of TOPSIS method, and then focuses on the implementation steps of business performance evaluation model based on entropy weight and TOPSIS method, combining financial indicators and non-financial indicators and taking appliance listed companies as an example of empirical research on performance evaluation, to verify the feasibility and validity of the model and make a beneficial exploration and try for the performance evaluation of listed companies.
