Chengdu Health Industry Development Research

Economic development promotes the awareness of residents'health consciousness, and the demand of health industry is enormous. In the developed countries, the health industry has become an important industry to drive economic development, but the development of health industry in China is still not enough, so at present, the country is striving to develop health industry, and to establish a reasonable and comprehensive health industry system. Chengdu has a good geographical position and rich natural resources, and has superior medical resources and traditional Chinese medicine resources, is very conducive to the development of health industry, the above conditions are very conducive to the development of health industry. In 2010, Chengdu launched the "Health industry development plan of Chengdu2010-2017", all areas of the health industry have been vigorously invested, and many quality projects has been established such as The International Medical City. The above marks the formal entrance into the comprehensive development of the health industry in Chengdu city. At this time, a comprehensive study of the health industry in Chengdu has a strong theoretical and practical value.In 2015, the state officially launched the "supply side reform", which is very conducive to the development of the service industry, the internal and external environment for the development of health industry in Chengdu city is very superior, and the health industry development plan has achieved remarkable results. However, there is a lack of research on the health industry in Chengdu city. This study hopes to make up for this problem. Through the research of the basic advantages, industrial policy, industrial demand, the development situation and the basic situation of the health industry in Chengdu, I found that,at present, in Chengdu, the healthy industrial structure has just basic formed, the medical and pharmaceutical industries is the support industry, and this health industry system integrating health care, health care rehabilitation and health tourism. But, many problems exist in the health industry development of Chengdu, such as the lack of residents' health literacy, the ineffective of government supervision and regulation, the low quality of products and services, the industry is not closely linked, the development of intra industry development is not balanced and the shortage of the development of the elderly market will restrict the development of the health industry, it will not only affects the pace of development of the health industry, the comprehensive competitiveness of health industry will also be affected.In order to promote the development of health industry in Chengdu, to solve the problems that the industrial development is facing of, according to the theory of industrial economics, combined with economic and natural conditions of Chengdu City, this study puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions such as improving health literacy of residents, the government should to strengthen the supervision and regulation, the high quality development of health industry, prolonging industry chain, improving the proportion of health services and the development of the elderly market and so on, hoping to provide some help for the development of the health industry in Chengdu.
