the "re-industrialization" strategy,vigorously develop the real economy;German expand "Industry 4.0" program;the United Kingdom,France and Japan have also started economic transformation and upgrading,and strive to compete for future manufacturing development opportunities.Since Reform and Opening up of China,the manufacturing sector has made considerable development,it has laid a good foundation for the rapid development of China's national economy.China's manufacturing export-oriented production model was unsustainable,low-end manufacturing products,overcapacity and other issues to be solved,high energy consumption,high pollution and low value-added,low-tech manufacturing to China's economic structure improve the quality of growth is very negative,is not conducive to the sustainable development of our economy.China's manufacturing industry slowed down accordingly.Many manufacturing companies started to enter the low growth or even negative growth situation,steel,coal,solar,construction machinery,shipbuilding and other industries,especially serious;in 2014,industrial investment 20.4515 trillion yuan,an increase of 12.9%,manufacturing investment 16.6918 trillion yuan,an increase of 13.5%from the monthly cumulative growth rate,the growth rate of these two indicators fell to lows since 2003.China's manufacturing industry in the global production systems is becoming increasingly important,in addition to an advantage in the export of textiles and clothing,footwear,bags and other labor-intensive products,the high-tech and high value-added products have gradually form their own competitive advantage.National transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing sector has been a lot of progress,including:internal restructuring of manufacturing industry is constantly advancing;depth of integration of information technology and industrialization of the country to give solid progress,innovation and integration of information technology to integrate applications in key;with the strong support of the central government for public welfare research institutions insist on the implementation of innovation-driven strategy,our R&D spending has increased steadily,national and regional innovation system has established and improved constantly;the contribution of the service sector in economic growth has improved significantly,with modern logistics,financial services,producer services continue to take advantage of modern information technology to enhance their own level,the professional level of the manufacturing sector in the development of industrial design,development,production,management and other aspects has increased gradually.By combing the theory of transformation and upgrading of manufacturing and reviews on manufacturing transformation and upgrading factors literature,summarized the factors affecting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing sector,including the level of consumption,labor,capital,technology,international investment,international trade,government spending size and so on.In recent years,the development of integration of the Industrialization and Information began to enter the field of vision research scholar in.However,the studies about integration of Industrialization and Information affect manufacturing transformation and upgrading of development are not so much,as an important factor to promote the structural optimization of manufacturing,whether the integration of Industrialization and Information promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing sector in the past five years?Is the effect different in the eastern,central and western of China?These two issues are very worthy of our study,which promote the transformation and upgrading of the overall development of China's manufacturing industry is significant.In this paper,our country's 30 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)(Hainan is not listed because of excessive missing data)is a cross-sectional unit,in order to show regional differences,the 30 regions are classified as eastern,central and western regions are formed three regions cross-section units,select the ratio that total retail sales of social consumer goods to GDP,ratio that R&D expenditure to GDP,ratio that total imports and exports to GDP,government expenditure as a percentage of GDP and other indicators as control variables,the use of each cross-sectional unit from 2010 to 2014 sample data on the composition of the panel,and then examine the integration of two regional manufacturing transformation and upgrading of China's development affect the results.The results show that,through the fixed effects model and random effects model data using the full sample panel system GMM regression,in random effects model it shows that the impact of explained variable lagged one and core explanatory variables and its lagged one on the explained variable is positive and significant,in fixed effects model it displays the impact of explained variable lagged one and core explanatory variable on the explained variable is positive and significant,and the core explanatory variable lagged one is not significant;empirical research regional sample,estimated by fixed effects model,found that in all three regional the impact of explained variable lagged one and core explanatory variables and its lagged one on the explained variable is positive and significant,we can see China the manufacturing transformation and upgrading has its continuity,in the western region,core explanatory variables and its lagged one is not significant.Among them,in eastern region,the impact of integration of Industrialization and Information on the manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading is large than central region,but the effect in two region is weakening gradually.According to the development of manufacturing industry in China and the transformation and upgrading of the status quo,combined with empirical findings,the article on China's manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading of development put forward some suggestions,including the transformation of government functions,optimizing the policy environment;highlight regional differences,strengthen infrastructure construction;expand the scope of restructuring,optimize the industrial structure;strengthening technological innovation,expand market space;grasp the key direction,the development of intelligent manufacturing and so on. |
