Rearch On The Influence Of The Intergration Of Information And Industrilization On The Upgrade Of Manufacturing Industry

At Present,China's manufacturing strategy is facing many challenges.Developed countries have focused on the“Re-Industrialization”strategy.Some countries in Southeast Asia have used their low-cost advantages to attract the international industrial chain to settle down.Meanwhile,China's manufacturing is facing“multiple squeeze”which the scale is large but not strong,and hard to upgrade.Thus,how to overcome such many problems in manufacturing has been the common concern of scholars from various fields.The information technology revolution is an industrial revolution in new era.The rapid development of the information technology has accelerated the development of the information industry and informatization.The Party and government also have been aware of the important role of information technology in developing industrialization,proposed to take the road of integration between industrialization and informatization from the16~thh National Congress to the 19~thh National Congress.The integration of the two technologies is the product of the integration of industrialization and informatization.It is the information technology that deeply penetrated and integrated applied in all levels of industrial development.The integration can reduce cost,increase efficiency and the added value of product through digital measures such as internet and computer software,which can improve traditional production models.Therefore,the integration of industrialization and informatization plays an leading and guiding role in upgrading China's manufacturing.Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei,the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta,the three major economic circles,are the most active areas for economic development in China,and are also the areas with the highest share of manufacturing in China.The development of manufacturing in the three major economic circles is closely related to prospects for the development of real economy in our country.Studying the impact of the integration of industrialization and informatization on the upgrading of the manufacturing industry will help to promote the industrial transformation and upgrading of the three major economic circles in the new era,and improve the global competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.As for the prospect in theorical research,this article starts with the definition of integration of the two industries and upgrading of the manufacturing industry,explores the internal and external reasons of the integration to promote the upgrading manufacturing industry,analyzes the mechanism of the integration from the value chain and the industrial chain to promote the upgrading of manufacturing,and proposes three ways——total factor productivity,technical efficiency and corporate profitability——that how the integration promote the upgrading of the manufacturing industry.The next,this paper describes the development status of the integration and manufacturing in three major economic circles,analyzes the dilemmas and problems for the integration and upgrading of manufacturing.At the terms of empirical research,firstly,this paper constructs the integration index by Entropy weight method based on the data from China's three major economic circles,and measures the level of integration of two industries in three major economic circles using the stochastic frontier analysis from 2003 to 2017.Second,using the non-parametric panel model to measure the short-term effect of the integration on upgrading of the manufacturing industry.Thirdly,analyzing the long-term impact of the integration of each province in three major economic circles on the upgrading of the manufacturing industry,through cointegration test and fully modified least squares(FMOLS).Finally,by calculating the gray correlation between the explanatory variables and the explained variables of the three major economic circles,this paper can analyze the difference of gray correlation of the integration and upgrade of manufacturing between different areas.Through the theorical and empirical analysis,the following conclusions can be drew:(1)The integration of the two industries can improve the technological level as well as production efficiency,increase the informatization level of manufacturing and expand the competitive advantages through all aspects of the value chain and the industrial chain.(2)The short-term effect research shows that the integration of the two industries has a positive effect on the improvement of the profit margin of the manufacturing industry with the positive marginal effects.While the long-term effect research shows that there is a long-term relationship between the integration of the two industries and upgrading of the manufacturing industry,and there are positive impacts on upgrading manufacturing industry from the integration of the two industries and governments'investment.(3)The results of the gray correlation shows that,the integration of the two industries in the Pearl River Delta Economic Circle has the highest correlation with the upgrading of the manufacturing industry,next is the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle,and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle is comparatively the least.Last but not least,based on the results and the development status of the three major economic circles,this paper proposes the policies to promote the integration of the two industries and upgrading of the manufacturing industry in three major economic circles during the new period.
