This study mainly adopted the research paradigm of inducing emotions-completing the decision-making task to investigate the effect of sorrow, joy, fear and two decision-making framework on the risk decision-making behavior of postgraduate students. At first, the subjects were randomly divided into a control group and three experimental groups. Then, three experimental groups watched different movies to evoke their sorrow, joy, and fear respectively. And, all subjects completed Positive Negative Affects Scale before and after watching these movies. Also, the control group did not watch movies. Finally, three experimental groups and one control group completed the risk decision-making task.This study used 4(emotions:evoked sorrow; evoked joy; evoked fear; no induced mood) x2 (decision-making framework:framework of benefit; framework of loss) mixed design. The emotion was one variable between groups while the decision-making framework was another variable within groups. Below are some main conclusions:(1) There were significant differences between the effects of different emotions on risk decision-making. Individuals showed low risk-taking tendency in the sorrowful state, while showed high risk-taking tendency in the state of joy and fear;(2) Individuals in the joyful state were more apt to take risks than those in the fearful and sorrowful condition. And individuals in the fearful state were more apt to take risks than those in the sorrowful condition;(3) Individuals under the framework of benefit in the sorrowful and joyful state were more apt to take risks than those under the framework of loss. There was no significant difference in risk tendency between individuals under the framework of benefit and those under the framework of loss;(4) Emotions and framework both had influence on risk decision-making. The interaction between emotions and the framing effect was very significant.
