Logistics Listed Companies Efficiency Evaluation Of China Based On DEA Model

Logistics industry is an emerging industry compared to other industries in China,it has been widely regarded as the reducing material consumption and boosting productivity after the third profit source of increasingly prominent role in the national economy and socialized production, logistics development is closely related to the level of economic development of a country or a region, even it has become a symbol of economic development level of countries and regions.Economic globalization and the opening to the outside world make many of the investment firms and foreign logistics companies pour into the Chinese markets,causing domestic logistics companies are suffering more severe competition and challenges than before. The logistics companies, as individuals of the logistics industry, the overall development of China's logistics industry will be affected by their operational efficiency and their development degree, especially as a leader in the logistics industry. So it is necessary to make evaluation of the efficiency for logistics listed companies, and analysis of the problems of development to make further efficiency improvements.Firstly, establishing a preliminary evaluation index system of efficiency based on the related literature and the characteristics of the listed logistics companies, and then choose the finally input and output indicators with multiple linear regression correlation analysis respectively, finally construct a logistics efficiency evaluation index system of listed logistics companies in China; Secondly, the paper makes a preliminary evaluation of development of China's logistics listed companies with CCR and BCC Data Envelopment Analysis model, then put forward the rough proposal on development; Due to a part uncontrollability of input indicators, this paper build a improved model, and evaluate again based on two different efficiency evaluation results. The paper analyse the problems existing in China's logistics listed companies, and put forward the feasibility of developing policies, strategies and so on focus on the above analysis.Empirical study of China's logistics listed companies not only has a direct role in promoting development, improving the management level and competitive against foreign logistics companies, but also indirectly affect the overall development of China's logistics industry.
