The Research In The Application Of Photovoltaic Power Plant Financial Leasing

As a kind of clean energy, solar energy is widely distributed, with low pollution and high security. After the burdensome period of domestic overcapacity and foreign “anti-dumping and countervailing” investigations, photovoltaic industry had ushered in a new opportunity, and became one of the strongly support industries by the government. However, the construction of photovoltaic power plants still faces many problems, and the most important one is to raise funds. Affected by the long investment circle and the large investment number, bank loans are difficult to get. Even some raised funds from banks are faced with stringent attached conditions. The construction of the photovoltaic power station is in urgent need of more and more convenient financing channels.The financial leasing can be effective in solving the financial problems of the photovoltaic power plant construction. The financial leasing combines raising funds with the use of the equipment, so that PV companies can obtain the right to use the leased equipment with only a small amount of rent. The aim of this paper is to introduce the feature of the financial leasing and financial leasing market, and study the feasibility and potential risk of the financial leasing project in the photovoltaic power plant on the basis of a specific case. Therefore, an in-depth study of the photovoltaic power plant leasing project explores the feasibility and the risks are of great significance. First, this paper describes the definition, classification, features and functions of the financial leasing, and then summarizes four photovoltaic power station financial leasing mode. In addition, the paper analyzes the feasibilities and risks of the application of the financial leasing in photovoltaic industry. On the basis of a specific case, we put forward some recommendations on the risk control of financial leasing companies in PV power plant leasing project.
