China's economy has achieved rapid development and entered into the new era of knowledge economy gradually with the rapid development of the integration of global economy and the gradual improvement of the market operation system in the twenty-first century. Electricity as the national pillar industry which is related to national economy and people 's livelihood and public utilities, its development is more related to the good operation and development of all the undertakings in our country, it will also face new situation and new task in the new era of knowledge economy.The electric power system belongs to intelligence-intensive industry, which determines the competition among electric power enterprises in the final analysis is the competition of talents. High-quality talents will undoubtedly become the core competitiveness of enterprises, so to strengthen the training of the staff and improve the knowledge and skills of them becomes the primary task of the current competition among talents. To the present state of the power system of training, training has become the trend, however, many electric power enterprises only pay attention to capital investment and the development of the training, ignoring the assessment of training effectiveness which is an important link. So it is particularly important to establish a complete scientific training effect evaluation system.This article works out a targeted training effect evaluation index system of the electric power system through researching a great lot of documents overseas and domestic and combining the characteristics of Datang Henan Power Generation Co., Ltd on the basis of studying relevant theories. This paper will carry out an overall assessment of the electric power system training effect from three aspects of training programs, training personnel and enterprise management, summarizing the training experience, and providing references for training and training evaluation, meanwhile, providing the theoretical guidance of systematic and theoretical training effect evaluation for the electric power system.First, to introduce the current situation of training management in Datang Henan Power Generation Co., Ltd and find out the problems existing in the work through interviewing experts. Second, to set up a preliminary index system according to the designed ideas and principles of the training effect evaluation index system and sending questionnaires on this basis, then filtering out the relatively important indicators and using AHP analytic hierarchy process to quantify the index system, namely determining the weight. Finally, taking the inspection staff training project of Datang Henan Power Generation Co., Ltd as an example and to evaluate this project by the method of AHP- fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, thereby helping train managers and related personnel find the specific problems in training activities and then taking efforts to correct, all of these has the theoretical and practical significance which can draw lessons from.
