Research On The Role Of Producer Services To Manufacturing Efficiency From The Perspective Of Industrial Convergence

Since the reform and openness,our country's economy grows quickly.We have been the second in the word.People's living standards have improved significantly.At the same time,manufacturing has made great achievement.But under the constrain of economic globalization,resource,population,environment,and the developed countries in the world,China's manufacturing industry is faced with many major issues.The disappearance of the "demographic dividend" result in higher labor costs.Because of the innovation ability and technology,our country is located in the low-end links in the global value chain,it is difficult to get profit.Low product added value in China manufacturing industry results in low competitive in the world.Therefore,It is time for China to transform a critical moment.Through the transformation and upgrading of economic structure to optimize the allocation of resources and promote technology innovation ability.Reviewing the past development experience,we find that China's manufacturing industry has reached the bottleneck.It is difficult to achieve the aim of transformation and upgrading by their own strength alone.We must depend on other ways.In consideration of the close association between the manufacturing and producer service,we can take full advantage of producer services.under the background of the transformation,this paper studies the relationship between producer service and manufacturing industry.Through the theoretical and empirical research,this paper tries to solve two problems.First,can the producer service promotes the manufacturing industry?Second,if it can,which way does it choose?First of all,on the basis of the research at home and abroad,this paper defines the concept of producer service,industry integration and introduces the relationship between the producer service and manufacturing.Secondly,I analyze the influence of producer service for manufacturing efficiency,from specialization,differentiated service,expounds the mechanism of knowledge capital;Using panel data,from two angles of region and industry to carried on the empirical analysis.Finally,I find out that the effective way to improve manufacturing efficiency is the integration.On the basis of the research at home and abroad,and based on the current situation of economic development in our country,this paper discuss the motivation,mode,effect of industry integration.Analyzes the level of integration using the input-output table.The results of these analyses are summarized as follows:Firstly,the development of producer service has promoted the efficiency of manufacturing.Among them,the transportation,warehousing and postal service the basis of this kind of service industry is the most important to promote the efficiency of manufacturing,and this shows that the low level of China's manufacturing industry development,high degree of dependence on the traditional service industry.Second is financial industry,came in third place was scientific research technology,this shows that in the process of the development of the manufacturing industry in our country,there are no good mining technology services.And,after classifying manufacturing.In particular,the labor-intensive manufacturing mainly depends on the development of Transportation industry.Financial industry depends on the development of capital-intensive manufacturing.Technology intensive manufacturing depends on the development of scientific research,but the efficiency is lag.It has negative correlation with present efficiency.But it can improve the efficiency of the manufacturing in the coming year.Secondly,producer service can promote the efficiency of manufacturing industry through the convergence of the two.In theory,there are three kinds of the models---penetration type,extension type,combination type.The essence of which is decomposition and integration of value chain.The formation of new value chain is a reflection of the fusion.Through the fusion of producer service and supporting activities in manufacturing,it can realize the specialization,economies of scale,and improving the efficiency of resource allocation.Through the fusion of producer service and basic activity in manufacturing,it can create better profits than market exchange,higher customer value,enhance its competitiveness,improve the operational efficiency of enterprises.Thirdly,this thesis calculates the fusion level of producer service and manufacturing by using the input-output table.The study found our country is in a low level of integration.The manufacturing industry in a leading position.Producer service is difficult to form a strong support of manufacturing.On the contrary,the development of producer service need more support of manufacturing,especially the technology industries.Also,there are many differences between the subdivision industry.Transportation industry has the best combination with capital-intensive manufacturing.This reflects the important role of traditional service industries in China.Scientific research and technical service industry and manufacturing industry in China is in a low level of integration.reflecting disjointed between technology development and production of practice.The degree of integration of the financial sector and labor-intensive manufacturing industry categories relatively high.The degree of integration of Information Industry and China's manufacturing is in the center,but also at a low level,a significant gap with developed countries.Information technology service has the best combination with high-tech industry.According to the above analysis,this paper puts forward five policies.The first is to build a good integration environment of producer service and manufacturing.The second is to build a scientific market Integration environment.The third is to establish a perfect education system.The fourth is Make full use of the "Internet +" thinking,create intelligent manufacturing.The fifth is Adjust and optimize the allocation of resources,promote industrial structure rationalization Fusion.This thesis has three innovation points:first,We not only discuss the role of producer service in manufacturing development from the theory and empirical inquiry,but also put forward an effective way to promote the efficiency of industrial---Industrial Convergence.Second,on the basis of the research at home and abroad,this paper has put forward three model of convergence.Third,We established a complete set of index system and used the input-output table to measure the fusion level of our country.There are two disadvantages need further research:first,this thesis just discuss the theory of convergence.Second,the input-output table is lack of the considering of dynamic change.And this method which measures fusion level from intermediate input,may not be able to measure the true state of integration accurately.
