The Asymmetric Influence Of Producer Services And Manufacturing Co-agglomeration On Manufacturing Efficiency In Northeast China

As a new type of economic activity distribution,industrial agglomeration is regarded as an important driving factor for the improvement of productivity in a country or region.At the present stage,industrial agglomeration is not only the concentration of single industry,but also the synergetic cluster of related industries.Productive service industry as an important service industry of manufacturing,the coordination between manufacturing and agglomeration phenomenon caused wide attention of academia and relevant scholars began to study and analysis of the two industries agglomeration effect together.Northeast China is China's important economic sector,is also the home of old industrial base,the development of manufacturing industry in northeast China in recent years,however,faced with hysteresis solidification structure,development situation and the development of economy encountered bottleneck.Therefore,this paper selects the northeast region as the main research area,and studies the development of the collaborative cluster of producer services and manufacturing in the region.Is there a synergy between two industries in the underdeveloped northeast region? If there are synergies between the two industries,what kind of synergistic effect will be produced,and whether the production efficiency of the manufacturing industry will be significantly improved? What are the constraints on the effect of industrial synergy on manufacturing efficiency? These are the problems that need to be solved urgently.Using panel threshold model,this paper analyzes the panel data of 34 prefecture-level cities in northeast China from 2003 to 2015.This paper studies the asymmetric effect of the collaborative agglomeration level between producer services and manufacturing industry on manufacturing efficiency.Research process,the selected city scale,foreign direct investment,fixed assets investment,government expenditure per capita and informatization level as a threshold variable of the model,discusses industry under the influence of different threshold variable agglomeration of manufacturing productivity effect.The results show that there is a significant correlation between the synergetic concentration of producer services and manufacturing industry and manufacturing efficiency.Collaborative agglomeration level nonlinear impact on production efficiency of manufacturing,and under the influence of different threshold variable,collaborative cluster of industry impact on the efficiency of the manufacturing production has obvious different.Current industry collaborative agglomeration situation in northeast China is not significant,collaborative cluster not give full play to the advantages of unfavorable to make advantage of industry cluster,the difficulty in forming new economic growth point and sustainable competitiveness.According to the research results,this paper puts forward some specific policy Suggestions: first,we should strengthen the coordinated development of regional producer services and manufacturing industry.Second,create conditions conducive to the synergy of producer services and manufacturing.Finally,the effect of the synergistic agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing industry on manufacturing efficiency is fully realized.
